A running update on the resident aircraft fleet as it gradually recovers over time - great to see!
Flown in on 2nd November was DH89A Rapide G-ACZE from Bembridge, to the Britten-Norman bellman hangar.
Cessna 182 G-DOVE has been replaced by a 2008 model G-PTRI, resident in "R" hangar. Owners Roy Seckington and Steve Tyas are interested in expanding the number of people flying the new aircraft, through equity and non-equity routes. Get in touch with them direct or via LFA.

PA28-161 Warrior G-BFBR is coming to Phoenix Aviation to help supply the demand from local people (yay!) for PA28 aircraft hire and PPL flying lessons via nearby Bembridge airfield.
Phoenix Aviation is delighted to announce the arrival of the latest addition to its fleet of aircraft - G-BFBR. The Piper Warrior II (pictured) is a well equipped aircraft with very modern avionics (GNS430 GPS, Garmin Mode-S Transponder etc.), allowing its operation in almost any airspace within the UK and Europe.
G-BFBR nicely complements the Phoenix Club's existing Warrior II and Archer III aircraft which are used for both PPL hire and flying training.
First flight of 'new build' Auster G-CDPG which Paul Groves of "P" hangar has built from Auster components and other things - such as a Lycoming engine. Test flying for the LAA Permit for his 'bitsa' Auster is complete. Very nice result for a spare-time project over twenty years!
Geoff Beavis has completed his Eurostar build project G-CFTZ has had it's first flight. Having sold his Icarus C42 in 2007 when the airfield was going to be closed to GA it is great to see Geoff operating an aircraft of his own again at Lee, with the Solent Microlight Group operating from Hangar "M".
Alan Matthews and Martin Laver have been able to bring Grumman Tiger G-BOZZ back from Popham to be a resident aicraft once again, this time with the Lee Flying Association at Hangar "B"
David Rose and four other professional pilot co-owners join the LFA and bring new build SportCruiser G-DADZ to Lee.
